This weekend, AGE staff are busy with two great events, and I hope you can join us at one of them!

Clear Your Clutter Day
AGE is excited to join the Austin chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers for their 5th Annual Clear Your Clutter Day, a free community event to get junk out of your place and donations to local non-profits!

On Saturday, January 29th, from 10AM-2PM at IKEA of Round Rock (One IKEA Way, Round Rock) you may drop offfor FREE, one carload of:

Unwanted items (Aka JUNK)
Three boxes of paper to be shredded
Discarded flattened moving boxes
Used cell phones
Discarded computers and electronics
Mobility assistance devices (wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, etc.), to be donated to AGE’s H.E.L.P. Program!

Caring for a person with Alzheimer’s can be very difficult, both emotionally and physically. At this seminar hosted by the Caregiver Resource Center (a program of AGE), family caregivers will learn strategies, tips, and hands-on activities that can help make caregiving easier and less stressful for both you and the senior.
