NEWS: Working Longer Linked to Later Onset of Alzheimer’s Disease

In a study of 382 men with an average age of retirement of 63.3 years, researchers found that every additional year of employment delayed the start of symptoms of dementia by nearly six weeks. The onset was independent of the quality or duration of the men’s education or the type of work.
